Father's Day

Happy Father's Day everyone!  Mine was not as happy as planned, but there's nothing we can really do.  We may just plan it another day because my sister had to work and my parents went to a friend's for dinner.  Anyway!  I baked a German Chocolate cake with a chocolate ring around it.

I also made him this card!  My sister lost the card we bought him, so I quickly made this~ :P

My dad's leaving for Iraq soon, and I wanted today to turn out better, but sometimes things don't happen as planned.   You never know when your parents will be gone, so you want to appreciate them as much as possible, even through the ups and downs.
